Representative Cases

  • $11 million settlement of claims brought in ICC arbitration alleging breach of contract and fraud involving a West African oil and gas concession agreement.
  • $20 million award on behalf of U.S. energy concessionaire in London-based ICC and ICSID arbitrations against the Federal Government of Nigeria.
  • Represented steel company in ICC arbitration and California Superior Court, in the prosecution of claims against scrap supplier fraud, theft, conspiracy, and breach of contract. $1.4 million judgment.
  • Represented claimants and respondents in securities-related arbitrations administered by FINRA (formerly NASDAQ).
  • In a dispute over the calculation of gathering rates under a gas gathering agreement, winning a take-nothing award after a three-week arbitration in which the plaintiff sought damages of more than $200 million.
  • Represented a plaintiff in an arbitration proceeding involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty and breach of non-compete agreement. Our client received an award of over $9 million on its claims.
