Helen Hemingway McLaughlin - Associate
Helen Hemingway McLaughlin, a Houston native, joined Buck Keenan in 2019. Helen represents clients in both complex commercial litigation and oil and gas disputes. Helen has significant experience advising and representing public and private operators and working interest owners, landowners, oil and gas pipeline companies and other clients in litigation matters in front of Texas district courts, United States district courts, and United States bankruptcy court.
Helen also has experience representing financial institutions in employment disputes and cases involving the health care industry. She was admitted to practice in Texas in 2013. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in English and received her J.D. with honors from South Texas College of Law.
Prior to joining Buck Keenan, Helen worked for Watt Thompson Frank & Carver LLP. Helen is a member of the Houston Bar Association – Oil, Gas, & Mineral Law and Litigation Sections and the State Bar of Texas – Oil, Gas and Energy Law Section.
